Welcome to My Office!

It’s always exciting when a child can look at a challenge and say “I can do that!” When they do not, a challenge can become a long and difficult experience.

As a school Music Educator in New York for more than 30 years, I have taught students from ages 3 to adult in both classroom and private lesson settings. I have learned that my first objective should be to recognize what a child is thinking as they face a challenge and then to help them realize their capabilities so they will be motivated to work to do their best.

The I Can Do That! Kids program equips students with strategies for feeling prepared for and capable of learning. Students use the materials as their tools for setting goals, initiating strategies and taking steps to overcome obstacles as they work towards their goal.

The I Can Do That! Kids Action Stars and OBST offer an easy and simple way for parents and teachers to collaborate and teach children to look at challenges in a positive fun way, so children feel comfortable and are motivated to try. I firmly believe that when parents, teachers and children work as partners, the results are exciting and rewarding.

I Can Do That! Kids gives children strategies that will make learning fun, rewarding and meaningful throughout their lives.
